20 years ago there was a lot going on. The DVD was announced; Toy Story was the highest-grossing movie of the year and the first PlayStation of the year was released. Amongst these great things, The Fireplace Warehouse opened its doors for the very first time. John Mulcock, the founder, trusted his entrepreneurial instincts and set up the first shop in Collingbourne Ducis. With 25 years of industry experience under his belt, John saw an opportunity in the market for high-class stoves at low prices. With only a handful of fires, he built up the company to what it is today, a family run company with a large trade customer base as well as the showroom open to the general public.
On the 3rd October, we will be celebrating our 20 years in style, offering everyone AT LEAST 20% on all stock items, and that’s not all. We have arranged for some live cooking demonstrations from an ESSE chef who will be cooking on the EC4i, and there will also be up to 8 working stoves on display.
